With effect from 1 July 2006, the
new opening hours in HAD such as the Public Enquiry
Service Centres (PESC) will be as follows:

The Public Enquiry Service Centre located at Cheung
Chau is open from 8:45 am to 6:45 pm during weekdays. |

| Note 2: |
Public Enquiry Service Centre located at Mui Wo
is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00
am to 6:00 pm. |
Use of HAD's Community
Halls/Community Centres by members of the public
during weekends through advanced booking will not be
affected by the above arrangements.
The following Emergency
Relief Services provided by HAD will remain unchanged:

Departmental
Emergency Co-ordination Centres
to provide emergency relief services to the public
round the clock in the event of typhoon, prolonged
heavy rain etc. |

Interdepartmental
Help Desks in hospitals and/or at site to
coordinate emergency services. |

Temporary
Shelters: Cold
Shelters, Temporary Night Heat Shelters and temporary
shelters during typhoons, landslides, heavy rainstorms
or other emergency situations. |
