2011 Village Representative Election: Overall turnout rate on January 9
The second polling day of 2011 Village Representative Election ended at 7pm today (January 9).
A total of 184 candidates from 51 villages contested for 94 seats, including 64 Indigenous Inhabitants Representatives (IIR) and 30 Resident Representatives (RR), in the IIR and RR Elections.
A total of 14,127 out of the 22,451 registered voters cast their votes, representing an overall turnout of 62.92 per cent.
