In view of the latest situation of the COVID-19 epidemic, the opening hours of Home Affairs Enquiry Centres (Enquiry Centres) of the Home Affairs Department will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday (except public holidays) (The opening hours of the Enquiry Centre at Mui Wo are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except public holidays)) from 23 November 2020 until further notice. For general enquiries, please call the Home Affairs Department Enquiry Hotline 2835 2500 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

Owing to the adjustment of opening hours of Enquiry Centres, the Home Affairs Department appeals to members of the public for their understanding that public services will be provided at a reduced scale and they should be prepared to experience a longer waiting time before they can be served.

In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, the opening hours of the Estate Beneficiaries Support Unit of the Home Affairs Department (‘EBSU’) will be between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 23 November 2020 until further notice.

For enquiries, please contact the EBSU Hotline 2835 1535 between 8:45 a.m. and 1 p.m., and between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

We remind you to stay vigilant to fraudulent phone calls and correspondence claiming to be from our office. We will not normally make calls to members of the public through the hotline. We will not make phone calls or write to members of the public to ask them to provide personal information or make any payment. As our hotline is operated by a central telephone system, the hotline number 2835 2500 will not be displayed. If you have any doubt, please contact our staff for verification or please call the Hong Kong Police Anti-Deception Coordination Centre 24-hour Anti-Scam Helpline 18222 for enquiry.
