Guidance Notes on Submission of Notice of Claim by Digital Files
- If your principal residential address is not in Hong Kong, you may deliver Notice of Claim by electronic means (an electronic record authenticated by a digital signature) (email address: rre@had.gov.hk), please note the following requirements:
- (a) The size of each digital file to be submitted must not exceed 5 MB;
- (b) The total file size of all attachments to an email must not exceed 25 MB; and
- (c) Files included in a submission should be in the following file formats:
(i) Portable Document Format (PDF) ; (ii) Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) ; (iii) JPEG Interchange Format (JPEG) ; (iv) Tag Image File Format (TIFF) ; (v) Portable Network Graphics (PNG) ; and (vi) Bitmap File Format (BMP).
- In submission of Notice of Claim(s) / document(s) by e-mail (rre@had.gov.hk), the electronic file(s) of form(s)/ document(s) must be attached to the e-mail. Other transmission methods (e.g. providing a hyperlink of cloud storage) are not accepted and will not be processed.
- If you need to fill the PDF application form, please use "Adobe Acrobat Reader". You may download the software from the website http://get.adobe.com/reader.
- If you sign the application form with a digital certificate, please sign the form with a personal digital certificate issued by the Hong Kong Post or Digi-sign Certification Services Limited.
