Service Handbook

Service Handbook

Since 1996, the Home Affairs Department has published a Service Handbook for New Arrivals with a view to providing new arrivals with more service-related information to facilitate their early integration into the local community. The Handbook is updated annually and printed in both traditional and simplified Chinese.

The 28th edition of the Handbook has now been published. The new edition introduces the information of Hong Kong and services available to new arrivals. It also includes brief introduction of the major Government departments and service agencies and their contact methods.

The Handbook will be distributed through a number of Government departments (including Education Bureau, Housing Department, Immigration Department and Social Welfare Department), non-governmental organizations involved in providing new arrival services and the Home Affairs Enquiry Centres in 18 districts. It has been uploaded onto this homepage.

The following information is in Chinese characters. Should you have any inquires, please contact Home Affairs Department on 2835 1385.
