Responsibilities :
- Overseeing the Works Section
- Overall management of and technical liaison with the departmental Technical Grades
- Overseeing the implementation of the works projects under the HAD Signature Project Scheme
- Overseeing the implementation of the HAD minor works programmes, and overseeing the works of concerned works agents
- Overseeing the administration, management and performance monitoring of the Architect-led term consultants and the Quantity Surveying term consultants for implementation of District Minor Works projects
- Overseeing the recruitment, management and performance monitoring of the HAD approved contractors for implementation of HAD minor works programmes
- Exercising financial control over projects, including expenditure forecasts and estimates
- Attending meetings with District Councils and other meetings in connection with works projects
