Year-round District Youth Activities
Year-round District Youth Activities are activities coordinated and organised by District Youth Development and Civic Education Committees (DYDCECs) throughout the year in 18 districts. DYDCECs may consider organising activities for promotion of cohesion among young people on a relatively long-term basis and fostering their development. Examples are:
- youth festivals
- youth forums
- youth exchange/ambassador programmes
- youth mentorship programmes
- youth volunteer service
- youth arts and cultural competitions
- district/cross-district cultural and sports activities
- racial harmony promotion activities for youth
- national and civic education activities for youth
